Shelley has won an Emmy for Investigative Journalism, multiple Hot Docs awards, and has been honoured with UNESCO’s Gandhi Medal for promoting a culture of peace.
She’s spent decades telling powerful stories about war, human rights, women, and children—often from the front lines. Now, she’s turned the camera inward with her deeply personal new memoir, If Only Love, a story of love, loss, and second chances that began when she was just seventeen at an international school in Japan.
