In Chapter 15 of Harry Potter: Obliviate Book 1 Seven Years of Chaos, the last of Harry’s patience runs out. Evasions and reassurances no longer work, not when his instincts keep screaming that something vital has been taken from him. He begins testing his own mind, tracing reactions and emotional spikes, searching for the shape of memories that should exist but do not.
This chapter is about defiance turning inward. Harry may not yet remember what was erased, but he decides he will no longer cooperate with the lie. Whatever waits behind the Obliviate, he intends to find it, even if it costs him the fragile peace he has been offered.
