    i am a non native english speaker /listener and the geography of the malazan empire, as well as the race and what are those races inside the story aren't clear to me . otherwise it is very good, i loved the humour , the characters and the depth of the story

    I bought this based on reviews and recommendations but I just couldn't get into the story. Had to stop and return it after 3 chapters, I couldn't figure out what the story was about.
