Unbeknownst to law enforcement in Chicago, the O’Toole family has been killing people for more than a hundred years. Peter Michaels discovers there is such a thing as a “warrior gene,” and it’s in all of us but with certain types of abuse during childhood it can create killers. Michaels calls in an old friend, Deborah Duke who is a blind genetic detective to trace DNA to help identify the victims and to solve the murders.
The O’Toole family has killed more than 120 victims in the last hundred years. Also, a ruthless assassin is hellbent on killing the reporter because Michaels was responsible for the death of his best friend. This pause-resisting thriller will be hard to put down.
