Description

Lara Jean's letter-writing days aren't over in this surprise follow-up to the best-selling To All the Boys I've Loved Before and P.S. I Still Love You.

Lara Jean is having the best senior year a girl could ever hope for. She is head over heels in love with her boyfriend, Peter; her dad's finally getting remarried to their next door neighbor, Ms. Rothschild; and Margot's coming home for the summer just in time for the wedding. But change is looming on the horizon.

And while Lara Jean is having fun and keeping busy helping plan her father's wedding, she can't ignore the big life decisions she has to make. Most pressingly, where she wants to go to college and what that means for her relationship with Peter. She watched her sister Margot go through these growing pains.

Now Lara Jean's the one who'll be graduating high school and leaving for college and leaving her family - and possibly the boy she loves - behind. When your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?

Poor Narrator

While I enjoyed the series, and am a true fan of audiobooks through and through, I had a very hard time enjoying this one. The caption says it’s narrated by Ali Ahn, who breathed life into Han’s characters, but this book is not narrated by Ahn. And that kind of ruined the whole experience for me.

Different narrator was disappointing

Lauren Knight-Keating was the narrator of this one - the audible description is wrong. Different from the first two books, her voice significantly changed the characters, making them sound like 5 year olds. I almost had to stop listening because she made Lara-Jean sound so incredibly childish. It’s bad enough the author chose to have teen girls over the age of 17 calling their parents “mommy” and “daddy” and then talking about having sex in the very next sentence but hearing it in the little girl voice made it even more disturbing. All 3 stories were good but I hope girls today don’t actually follow boys around like lost puppies, excusing any/all terrible behavior. That was hard to listen to at times - have some self respect girls!! Don’t be a doormat!! Drinking half a cocktail shouldn’t make you throw up for 24 hrs straight either - I don’t care how much of a lightweight you are. Very exaggerated unrealistic situations. That said, the series was worth a listen overall and I can see why teen girls are drawn to these books.

Cute!

Loved this series. I didn't notice a change in narrators like a few others mentioned. She sounded the same and did a great job! This book dragged a teeny bit for me at first but it picked up and I really enjoyed it! Now I need to watch the movies

I loved these books!

Ali Ahn the narrator was amazing! I loved each book and had to keep listening to each book until I finished. I'm sad it's over but I really enjoyed this series. Some of the reviews made me nervous but I disagree with those reviews. Lara Jean is my favorite!

Sucker for romance

I loved it this story. I hated that it ended, but all good stories do.

Read all three

As an adult reading a teen book I think I expected too much from the series. I have read other series meant for teens example Harry Potter, twilight series etc. and those had amazing character development this author is just flat dull boring and not meant for people over the age 20 or anyone with a love for real artistry of literature. Don’t bother is my opinion but something worthy of reading. If you want a love story try any of Jane Austen’s books or the twilight series if you need it to be current. Just don’t read this garbage.

Sad it's Over

I really enjoyed this series I listened to them back to back all this week while working, driving, and going to sleep. Thank you Jenny Han for your rich stories and characters that make me laugh, swarm, and sigh. I will keep them with me forever and always in my mind 😉

There needs to be more!

First off, I would like to thank the narrator for a tremendous job on this series. She's one of the reasons why I kept coming back. The series was amazing but let it have been a sucky narrator and I wouldn't have been here.
Next, where the heck is the rest. I have lost the measly amount of hope I have left in the world because this series isn't over. That first year of college is going to be absolute hell and I know it, so I didn't feel the 'happy ever after'. Personally, I don't wish to see if Lara Jean and Peter end up together at the end of it all, I just want the rest of their story. I like how realistic it is and despite if they end up together, I wanted to be a part of the process.
With that said, the second book will always be my favorite because there was a lot more going on–a lot more conflict and good amount of drama. This book had conflict, but it wasn't nearly the same as the first and second. Despite all that, it was all so realistic that I couldn't hate it. It wasn't over the top or forced, it was a story of growing up and going down different paths and it was heartbreakingly beautiful. I'm still feeling the after effect of it.
Hopefully in the future a fourth book is established (I kind of doubt that too) but until then, this series and characters have a place in my heart.

Solid ending to the trilogy..and replacement narrator is great!

As did some other listeners I had hesitations about the new narrator because I really enjoyed Ali Ahn, but I totally don’t agree with the complaints! Replacement narrator did an awesome job staying true to the voices from the first two books. Only voice she missed was Stormy. She improved upon Peter and did an awesome job actually being able to sing and bring that piece to life (sorry but Ali sucked at that!!). Ultimately I was surprised that I actually liked this narrator even better.

The story and trilogy itself was bittersweet but I realized any annoyance I had listening to it was true to how annoying and tough actual high school drama and transition to college is. Such an honest reflection, with the good and the bad mixed. Glad I finished the series and would recommend.

Margo is iggy

Margo is so iggy to me, she annoys the life out of me and shes lowkey manipulative wanting everything LJ does to reflect her movements. Kitty is another iggy one for me like not in this book but the others. anyways I couldn't wait for this to be over.
