This book is my personal contribution to the Great Commission, chronicling my spiritual journey from early adolescence to a deeper understanding of salvation. As a curious child, I wondered about God and the origins of the world, inspired by my mother's guidance rooted in Proverbs 22: 6. When I was baptized in my youth, I believed I had achieved spiritual fulfillment, yet I later realized my growth had stalled because I relied solely on church services and Sunday school without engaging in personal Bible study.

A turning point came when I began attending the Church of God in Christ with my cousin. Initially drawn by the vibrant music and the chance to play my horn, I attended more for the atmosphere than for spiritual insight. Later, my time at a Jesuit university, where religion courses were part of the curriculum, rekindled my curiosity about spiritual matters. Although I still struggled to find answers to complex questions, I was continually drawn back to the pursuit of truth.

Throughout my journey, I wrestled with profound questions involving science, philosophy, and theology—pondering the origin of God, the Holy Trinity, evolution versus creationism, and more. As relationships deepened and life evolved, my youthful baptism intersected with a more profound understanding of salvation. This renewed faith inspired me to write Christian music as a way to witness to others. My song "Altar Call" was created to guide listeners toward receiving salvation.

I learned that not making a decision is, in itself, a decision, and that surrendering to God's wisdom—even when aspects of faith remain mysterious—can lead to a transformative spiritual walk. Ultimately, my salvation is rooted in faith in Jesus Christ, with key New Testament teachings on grace, redemption, and repentance forming the foundation of my belief.
