By 2038, the apocalypse had been years in the making. The only question was—would it be caused by a financial collapse, a nuclear war, or a bio-weapon. No one thought the end of the United States would result from all three.
Walt knew things were bad, but like most Americans, he felt the government would muddle through and keep its citizens safe. He was wrong. Too many politicians worked hard to line their pockets while not ensuring America would stay strong and survive. Walt and his loved ones have to face the apocalypse and the ramifications of life AFTER AMERICA no longer exists.
Walt isn’t prepared but is resourceful and puts his heart into surviving. He finds like-minded men and women with skills that increase their chances of surviving, but are their efforts too little too late? America is gone, and humanity has been decimated. Can Walt lead a determined group to a better life while the world circles the drain?
