This is the story of Hibershen. Milo is all alone. It's his first winter on Bex, the grassy planet full of Mesitos in the heart of the galaxy. By all accounts, he should be thrilled—this is his first winter celebrating the holidays of his own species! But it's also his first winter without Zervana. With no one to spend the holiday season with, Milo must learn to adapt to the strange new traditions of the Mesitos.
Pageants, pits, shapeshifting games—these are the hallmarks of Hibershen. If Milo can't keep up, he'll be left behind, and if that happens, he'll have to accept that the future of his life will be led by one feeling. Loneliness.
