À propos de ce contenu audio

How can Christians approach hunting and fishing in a way that glorifies God? Is such a thing even possible? After all, hunting and fishing inherently involves killing living creatures that God has made. How is God glorified in the deaths of animals? Didn't God make animals, and doesn't he care about them?

The goal of this book is to ask and answer questions like these by using the wisdom of God in his word, and to bring you to a place where your outdoors experiences are more satisfying and fulfilling - not because you will become a more successful hunter or fisherman, but because your goal in hunting and fishing will be the glory of God.

Joel Detlefsen believes that God is good, that he is our provider, and that he has given us everything we need to live and thrive through what he has made. God's gifts to us are bountiful and good, and he commands us to take full advantage of them through the dominion mandate. Through the use of scripture and his own hunting and fishing stories, Detlefsen shows how experiencing creation through time in the outdoors will afford us opportunities to see the wonders God has made, and to return thanks to him for the same. This is the Glorious Arrangement.
