À propos de cette écoute

A tragic death. A hotel filled with suspects. A baffling mystery in Venice.

Private detective Henry Fleming, having just wrapped up a case which has taken him to Venice, has decided to stay for a few more days to explore the city and sample some of its renowned sweet confections. However, no sooner does one investigation end than another begins.

Sir Ernest Templeton, also holidaying in Venice with his wife, has received an intimidating poison pen letter which he regards as ‘stuff and nonsense!', although Lady Templeton is insistent that the writer poses a genuine threat to her husband's life.

Fleming is asked to join them for a few days at their luxury hotel: after all, it's better to be safe than sorry when a man's life is at stake! It soon becomes apparent, however, that several of the guests are not who they claim to be and that Sir Ernest really is in mortal danger.

With time against him, can our great sleuth identify from whom the threat comes?

For fans of Poirot, Miss Marple, Columbo, Jessica Fletcher and all their wonderful whodunnit / howdunnit mysteries.
