    The previous comment called it “ACOTAR” Christmas special, and it really is. But it’s nice ! Knowing this going in makes the read quite enjoyable, sure there is no big dramatic conflict on this one but it’s nice to just enjoy the feel of the characters and see them interact.

    If you’re a fan of Hallmark’s Christmas movies, this book is for you: full of loooooong conversations by the fireplace and sweet fluffy heartwarming moments, that will awake your darkest most murderous instincts if you’ve enjoyed the previous books of the series.

    The few (not quite so cosy - Hello, Nesta - ) elements that are useful to the continuation of the series could have been added as a prologue to the next book (or not at all).

    My advice: save your money and jump directly to the next more palatable volume of this series
