    Le plus pertinent
    The material is complex and making it into a "Short history of" certainly daunting. I learned quite some with this book, but overall found it much too scientific, specialist and often detailed to be an easy reading/hearing for non experts and leisure. The very posh accent of the reading made me smile, feels like sitting in an OxBridge class :-). So ... good but complicated, which I don't think this series was aiming for.
