“What”? Gina flung her arms in the air in an exasperated motion. “Nothing”. Christie replied, “I just don’t want to see you get hurt”. The unexpected declaration made Gina feel immediately defensive, and she reached for the door in a huff.
Gina is a high school teacher who has worked her way through a divorce, internet dating, and a pandemic. When the teacher across the hall invites her on a vacation down to Key West, Gina is more than ready to dust off her duffle bag and say goodbye to her small town home in North Carolina for a a few days in paradise. In the midst of cocktails and sunshine, Gina meets a man and finds herself falling fast and hard. But does he feel the same?
