Raine is on the hunt as a mysterious murderer is targeting her and her family. Can she save her daughter and her mate without losing herself to an insatiable darkness that lingers within?

“Raine!” Raegen roared as he lost sight of me in the chaos. Wolves were streaming from the woods. As Michael clambered to his feet I spun, trying to spot Raegen, but he was nowhere in sight.

“Get back to the pack house!” Raegen commanded, and I nudged Mai as I tried to get her to follow me. Michael clambered to his feet and between us both, we got her snarling wolf running back towards the pack house. Several sets of glowing eyes stood between us and safety, and Michael stepped forward protectively, placing himself between the eyes and Mai and me. I howled out a warning, but still, they advanced.

Six wolves stalked towards us, and Michael charged forward, his teeth sinking into one as three more attacked. Mai howled as a wolf latched onto Michael, ripping flesh from him. She bolted forward, and I followed as I lunged, dragging a wolf from Michael. Pain tore through me as claws dug into my back, as fangs dug in and dragged me to the ground. I snapped my head around, furiously trying to get to the brown wolf that was ripping into me.

Raine's past is catching up to her as she faces a monster of her own making!
