It’s all my fault!
We use the town ferry to cross the lake but the rope that holds it in place breaks and we barely get to the island in the middle of the lake. Now we’re stuck because the town’s Founder’s Day celebrations are going on and nobody will even check the lake for days. I’m going to have to find a way to convince my stepdad I’m sorry. I’ve learned my lesson.
When I see my stepfather taking control, I’m impressed. My God, this man is really good outdoors! I never knew that about him. Oh my goodness, I’m totally crushing on my stepfather! Suddenly, I know exactly how I want to show him I’m sorry. Sure, it’s a forbidden kind of thing. Still, the taboo isn’t really taboo if we’re far away from civilization, right?
I’m going to make my stepfather my Daddy, and I’m going to show him just how grateful I can be!
