"Shaun is one lucky guy.” That was the first thought in Natalia’s mind when she saw her best friend introduce her fiancé to their monthly college group hangout. Sasha was gorgeous. She had ash-brown hair, sexy cat eyes, perfect lips, a willowy figure, and a natural charm about her. She was beautiful in a way that only a woman would recognize. Men often get confused between cute, pretty, and beautiful, but Nat can tell that Sasha was beautiful.

But it wasn’t just that. Sasha was charming and witty, and one of the people that everyone was impressed after meeting just once. But she wasn’t shallow. Nat could easily see why she was the most successful young lawyer in her firm. When Shaun finally settled beside Nat, she expressed her approval her own way.

"For two straight semesters, everyone thought in college thought you were gay, and now you landed the most beautiful girl on the planet? How'd you pull that off?"

Shaun laughed outright. They truly were best friends, had each other's back through tough times, and always kept in touch. Nothing happened between them because nothing could happen between them, but Shaun knew that Nat was the one person he could truly trust and vice versa.

"Love and affection, that's all there is to it. Don't worry, you will find your Mr. Right as well. Or is it Miss Right nowadays?"

At that, Nat threw her napkin on his head. When Shaun introduced Sasha to Natalie, she appraised him, but her eyes were different. Nat could tell that Sasha didn't see her as a threat like most of Nat's previous girlfriends did. Maybe she knew how deeply Shaun had fallen for her. And Nat was cute, but she wasn’t Sasha, not by a long shot.
