"With all the preparation in the world, you should still expect delays."
That's what the first flight attendant told Topaz when she was alerted her flight into Sunflowers had been delayed two days before Valentine's Day.
"Sometimes, things fall apart for better things to happen," the next attendant told her 24 hours later, when she notified Topaz they canceled her flight into her hometown and booked her a flight into the closest city.
It's Valentine's Day, and Topaz has had a hard time flying into the states to see Meeko. By the skin of her teeth, she gets a flight into the country that allows her to spend the last hours of lovers' day with her forever love, Meeko.
In the fourth installment of the Sunflower Falls Series, Topaz and Meeko meet up for a late night rendezvous to celebrate Valentine's Day for their first time together as an official couple. The two of them don't have long, since Topaz has to fly back out of town in the morning. So with only a few hours together, they plan to make the most of their night with the little time they have.
