Thompsons run down Inn John and Betty Ford always dreamed of returning back to their hometown and owning Mr.. John was wealthy, so he had plenty of money to buy out Mr. Thompsons Inn and fix it up to modern times. Since it's been over 20 years since they spoke to Mr. Thompson, things have changed drastically at the Inn. Legend has it that during the mid-1800s the Clanton brothers were considered some of the roughest outlaws that the west has ever known. It is said that one night they set up camp in the mountains after a stage coach robbery and as they were counting the stolen money around the campfire, they were ambushed by another gang of outlaws known as the Smith and Wesson brothers.

Dr. Worthington purchased Bentley Mansion with stolen money he got from the banks he robbed in another state. The mansion was fully furnished with medieval torture devices kept down in the basement of the mansion. He had a plan to pose as a doctor and lure doctors from the local hospital and have parties at his mansion to show off his collection of medieval torture devices to his guests. Sometimes he would put his guests in the devices and take their pictures to put in his photo album.

Sarah and Dan Majors tried everything to have a child, but were unsuccessful until they answered an ad in the local newspaper. The Majors said, "What the Hell. We've tried everything else; why not give this a shot?" What the Hell is right. The Majors prayers would be answered from Hell. The Major's got in their car and headed to their destination with high hopes to put an end to the many years of failed pregnancies. Their destination would lead them deep into the mountains to a Witch Doctor that lives in a cave.

Jack and Brenda Stevens found the perfect home to start a new family, but were unaware of the home's past. Being a young couple with two children and big dreams, they couldn't care less if the house had a past or not. The only thing on their mind was raising a family in this beautiful Victorian home. The house had a strange odor, but they just thought it was because the house was old. Jack's wife, Brenda, thought once they moved in and did some renovations, the odor would diminish. She was dead wrong. This was one odor that wouldn't be leaving even if the place burnt to the ground.

Jim Harrington just inherited his uncle's mansion, located in the country, on an isolated road, with 1,000 acres of mostly wooded land. The closest neighbor was about two miles down the old gravel road from the farm. The mansion was pretty run down and needed a lot of work to make it livable again. The Dalton family was excited to be moving from the big city in the United States to a small town in another country. They wanted to escape their noisy city life. The small town of Breckonridge, where the Dalton family was about to call home, had been shattered just hours before their plane landed. The Breckonridge Nuclear Power Plant had developed a small crack in one of the reactors. The public warning system was down, so the town of Breckenridge was completely unaware. Radiation had spread throughout the town, infecting half the population....

Sam Edwards was a wealthy, lonely man who lived all alone in his mansion. Sam was in his late 40s and tired of not having a companion to share his wealth with. He decided he'd check out the bar scene and see if he could find a lady with the same interests as his. Sam hopped in his Rolls Royce not caring that it was a stormy night. Sam pulled into Mack's Tavern, ready to find his dream lady. He grabbed his umbrella popped it open as he stepped out of his car and walked up to the door, where he shook the rain off of his umbrella underneath the canopy.

Sally Edwards didn't have many friends at Gravendale High School. Whenever Sally tried out for sports she would be picked on by her classmates because she was a tomboy. Sally had buck teeth and matted hair and slurred her speech. She also wore the same clothes to school every day. Sally was poor and was being raised by her alcoholic grandfather who didn't have long to live, maybe weeks at best. When her classmates got wind of the passing of her grandfather the following week they started picking on her pretty hard.

The girl scouts of troop 66 were happy to finally see the rain gone. Almost all summer, the rain had ruined every opportunity for troop 66 to camp out and tell ghost stories around the campfire. Their perfect weekend was about to be turned upside down, and one of the girl scouts would become the subject of a famous urban legend that would be told around many campfires and would send chills up and down the spines of many brave campers.

John Edwards was an avid collector of antiques. He would travel all over the United States to find unique antiques and anything else that most collectors would pass on. John was happy with his collections but he was looking for something his friends would say find intriguing. John found himself traveling through a little town called Pleasantville. The town was so small you could throw a rock from one end of the town to the other. John just about missed the town and the rare antique he had been waiting to add to his collection for so long.

Bobby and Susan's parents were going out to a fancy restaurant for their 25th wedding anniversary and probably wouldn't be back until midnight. Just before they left the house they told Bobby and Susan, "Under no circumstances are you to answer the door for anyone. Is that understood?" Bobby replied, "Sure thing, Mom." Their parents closed the door and headed to their dinner date. Bobby said to Susan, "Mom sure does worry about our safety a lot, and besides were not dead yet."

Every night little Johnny would lie in his bed and read his favorite comic book series "The Boogeyman". Johnny's big sister Betty would tease him about his comic book on a daily basis, and say things like, "Johnny if you don't stop reading those stupid comic books the boogeyman is going to get you." She would come in his room and yank the comic book out of his hands and throw it across the room. The more his sister tormented him, the more anger for his sister was mounting.

It was Halloween again, October 31st, just like all the Halloweens before it. But this Halloween would change the world forever. The Devil decided to go against God's wishes of only having enough power to deceive our way of being able to choose between good and evil. The Devil said "Halloween Night is the only night of the year that my powers are the strongest." As the darkness set in and the trick-or-treaters headed out of their homes to get candy, the Devil entered every trick-or-treater's mind using mental telepathy.
