This is the second book in the Taggart Series where Bar, a wandering dwarf and Tami, a royal elf seek to find a place to make a home. Being chased by king Ellon, these two and their friends seek to escap e to the north where they can get lost in the vast woodlands never to be found by the king. However, things do not go as planned and the newly wedded couple and their friends end up having to make some h ard decisions. Along the way the bracelets of power are found and from this point on, these are important to the plot line of this series.
