While traveling from New Orleans to Chicago for a rock concert, five college students decide to take a detour. While in Mississippi, they travel a remote highway into the Delta region of the state to visit the infamous Crossroads: the place where blues legend Jack Johnson supposedly sold his soul to the devil. The campground was supposed to be safe. Now, Will, Holly, and Charlie are left scrambling to save Dylan after he is bit by an Empty. After performing a field amputation, they’re forced to leave the campground and seek out medical attention for the boy, before it’s too late.

With no firearms, the group find themselves in a race against time to arm themselves and get to the farm where they believe Dylan is, before David and Clint bring their fully-loaded forces to the hospital.
