This discussion began with MIT professor Scott Aaronson, when he wrote about being traumatized as a young nerd and how that left him out of the larger world of male privilege. Challenging his thesis is Laurie Penny in NewStatesman.com, a female nerd who has a different take on oppression. It's patriarchy and anti-feminism that are the culprits here. Being bullied affects one's self esteem and sexuality, and that creates the rage, trauma, and hurt of "nerdolescence".

If you've been "doxed", you know the dark side of the Internet. Doxing is gathering or hacking into someone's online account and using information without their knowledge. Susie talks about this unsavory practice, which can be a way to seek revenge. Many times it involves posting naked pictures of someone without their consent, possibly to a porn site. Susie finds this behavior to be another form of bashing women by using their sexuality against them. The sleaze factor here is very high.

In the this-can't-be-true department, Susie has a real doozy: a guy who calls himself the Double Dick Dude who recently proved that, yes, he really does have two penises. The website Reddit.com features a online forum where unusual people answer questions from subscribers. Double Dick spent a few days there answering a lot of enquiries and quickly became a sensation. Really. Can you imagine? Susie reads some of the questions and responses, and thinks you will fall madly in love with our new Lord and Master.

It's an outdated notion that only men will pay to have sex. What has changed in the past decade that makes more women okay with paying for escorts and sexual encounters? Susie will shed some light on the "why" as she reads from an article in the Sydney Herald. Written by Matty Silver, the story uncovers the many reasons, ranging from career women wanting privacy about their sex lives, to others simply wanting an arranged tryst rather then meeting someone at a bar. Go, women, go!

Susie takes a look at an article called "Times Square Blues" from The Nation magazine. It's a look back at what 42nd Street used to be famous for: lots of XXX movies, live nude revues, and just about anything sexy and dirty that you were willing to pay for.
