This is the most recent release of this seminal work. Translated to English language. Rather than offer this as an Audiobook, I will be releasing the next Chapter on this podcast whenever I see the sale of a paperback copy of my book on Amazon until all 25 chapters are released. Personally, I am not a big fan of subscriptions, so once all chapters are out there, they will be available for FREE. The Bear Went Over The Mountain was written by Soviet officers who had served in Afghanistan and returned for the extensive Command and Staff course at the Frunze Combined Arms Academy in Moscow. While they were at the Academy, the History of the Military Art Department had the Afghanistan veterans write vignettes of their experience.
