We want to invite those who are changing their own lives, their families’ lives, and their communities. Guests who understand the blessings of a second opportunity both physically and symbolically. Guests who have seized their second chance to rediscover purpose and make a difference. Guests who have invested the effort to discover how to design the life they desire rather than just using their presence as a means to an end.

This podcast series will include speakers who have professional experience with the incarcerated community as well as individuals who were previously incarcerated who want to share their stories. It is run through the Alba Project, which is a group based at the University of Michigan that strives to provide mental health resources and promote conversations among those who were formerly incarcerated.
