Welcome to the Hummingbird Hotel! When florist-to-the-stars Abbie Coleman catches a glimpse of her boyfriend through the window of Tiffany's, she couldn't be more excited. Keen to share her happiness, she organises a huge surprise party for all their family and friends… except things don't quite work out as she expected, and instead of planning a flower-filled wedding, she finds herself single, and fired from a job she loves.

When Corfu's newest hotelier Abbie Coleman is asked to host a fun-filled creativity retreat for a group of am-dram enthusiasts rehearsing for that year's pantomime, she pulls out all the stops. With pottery classes, painting sessions, wreath-making and flower-arranging—along with a few meditation sessions from the hotel's resident fitness guru—she's hoping that this time her guests' planned production of Cinderella will not descend into a comedy of errors. But this is the Hummingbird Hotel, and the words "plain-sailing" and "hassle-free" do not feature in the script.

When Abbie Coleman is asked to host a relaxing wellbeing retreat at the Hummingbird Hotel after a stressful photoshoot on board celebrity fashion designer Pierre Fontaine's luxury yacht, she knows it's the perfect opportunity to showcase the peace and tranquility on offer. But when a member of the local goat fraternity is discovered in a guest's room munching on a pair of his paisley boxer shorts, and a delicious avocado and kale smoothie has unexpected soporific properties, Abbie must once again join forces with local vineyard owner to unravel the mystery and save the hotel.

Paul and Derrick have hit their stride with the Hummingbird House Bed and Breakfast, a destination in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. Guests come from all over the country to enjoy their Christmas weekend extravaganza. Of course there are a few glitches: 20 Christmas trees to be decorated in less than a week, an absentee massage therapist, and - perhaps most distressing of all - the unexpected presence of three school-age children, courtesy of their saucy young housekeeper Purline.
