In episode three of the "What Keeps You Alive" Series, Brittany discusses the difference between the roles we have & who we are created to be, & why it's important to not conflate the two.
Key points:
- Roles are temporary, identity is forever. Identity, especially in Christ, takes precedence over our roles here on earth.
- Our identity in Christ should be the foundation of what we do - the roles/titles we have don't determine our worth or closeness to God.
- Not knowing your identity in Christ will likely cause you to fulfill or submit to a role that you were never meant to have & will be detrimental to your growth.
- Romans 8:10-17!
