Good evening. Wisconsin. I'm Aaron Jolly. Step outside right now and you'll feel it. That gentle nudge of spring in the air. We're sitting at 36 degrees under clear skies. And tonight? The full moon gets a front-row seat with mostly clear conditions statewide. Lows dip to around 27 degrees in the southeast and south central areas. Northeast Wisconsin stays a touch milder near 30. In the next 24 hours. Wednesday brings more of this mild magic. South central Wisconsin tops out near 54 degrees. That's about 27 degrees above normal for early March. Northeast Wisconsin hits 53 after some patchy fog burns off around 7 A.M. The southeast stays cooler near 45 thanks to Lake Michigan's influence. But enjoy the quiet. Because changes are coming. Rain moves in Wednesday night across southern Wisconsin. A coin flip's chance of rain after 9 P.M. Thursday brings likely rain south and east. Then Friday? That's the main event. Widespread rain, possible thunderstorms. And temperatures surging into the low 60s. That's nearly 27 degrees above normal. Some strong storms can't be ruled out Friday afternoon and evening. The weekend dries out with highs still running mild in the mid-50s to near 60. We're gaining nearly 3 minutes of daylight each day now. Sunrise at 6:32, sunset at 5:50. Spring equinox sits just 17 days away. Keep that umbrella handy for Friday. You'll need it. For the extended outlook, check the latest forecast as confidence improves. That's your forecast — we'll be back tomorrow.
