      Dulce Sanchez is a local ice shop store owner call Paradise Ice Cream in Monona, Wisconsin. She is a Latina businesswoman, she has been living in Madison for over 20 years, and in 2017 she started Paradise Ice Cream because she loves the tradition of making ice cream. In her words, “because each time you eat our ice cream, it transports you back to Mexico with our unique flavors.” Dulce Sanchez enjoys providing excellent customer service.

She works to empower rural northern families by bridging the gaps to access in education. She started Village Girl Boutique in 2018 after several trips to Africa. She enjoys sharing the rich beauty she experiences in African textiles. Village Girl Boutique is a global fashion brand which exudes confidence through high quality, African inspired, ready to wear fabrics and accessories for women. Qiana enjoys connecting business owners to resources and speaks on the power of getting started. She is a UW Whitewater graduate of Social Work, an UpStart graduate and YMCA Amplify grant awardee; as well as a proud mother of two adult son's.
