The Wilmington Chamber of Commerce is distinguished as the first and longest continually operating chamber of commerce in North Carolina. Our chamber maintains a 154 year legacy of protecting and strengthening the Wilmington business community and helping businesses grow and thrive. We connect over 900 members consisting of businesses large and small, representing more than 40,000 employees in southeastern North Carolina. Driving growth and defining tomorrow are integral to our chamber’s work.   • Meet Frankie Roberts, Leadership Wilmington Alumni and Executive Director of LINC, Inc.

    Frankie Roberts is a long time Leadership Wilmington Alumni and Executive Director of LINC, Inc, a local nonprofit organization whose mission is to educate and motivate youth to make positive life choices while empowering men and women returning from incarceration to be productive members of our community. Frankie talks about how even as a native Wilmintonian, he learned new things throughout his experience in Leadership Wilmington and continues to build upon relationships he made with his fellow classmates several years ago.

     

    Frankie Roberts was also the recipient of the Karl Davis Distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award this year!
