À propos de ce contenu audio

Have you ever read the story where Jacob wrestles with God… and thought,

“Wait… what is actually happening here?”

Because this is one of the strangest scenes in the entire Bible. A man appears in the middle of the night. Jacob wrestles him until sunrise. The man dislocates Jacob’s hip. Jacob refuses to let go. And then the man blesses him.

And afterward Jacob says, “I have seen God face to face.”

Why would God wrestle a man? Why would God WOUND the very person He’s about to bless? And why does Jacob walk away with a limp for the rest of his life?

Most people read this story and walk away confused… or they spiritualize it into something vague like “sometimes life is a struggle.”

But that’s not what this story is about! This moment is one of the most important turning points in the entire book of Genesis — and once you see what’s actually happening here, it reframes everything about blessing, identity, and what it really means to walk with God.
