      You may ask yourself, what in the world is a haint? Haint is an Appalachian term that refers to a spirit or something that scares the bejeevers out of you!

      In this series and season, we will be covering the many types of haints that exist in Appalachia. This season is in relation to Appalachian-specific entities. In this episode, we are going to be discussing the hauntings and entities of the Appalachian coal mines. We are also going to advocate for Martin County, KY which has been experiencing a water crisis since 2000.
