À propos de ce contenu audio
Are you ready to wrap up another year? This week on the podcast, I'm reflecting on what it means to approach a new year and asking some deep questions about our understanding of the plan of salvation. We've all heard lessons about the "plan of the adversary" versus the plan of happiness, but what if we've misunderstood what Satan's alternate plan actually was? I'm diving into what the scriptures really say—and don't say—about agency, force, and the adversary's true motives.
Join me as I throw out a fresh idea: what if the adversary’s original proposal wasn’t about forcing us to make the right choices, but rather about simply changing the rules, making it seem like everything would be okay no matter what we did? How does that perspective change the way we approach temptation and discernment today? If the enemy’s greatest tool has always been subtle deception—making wrong seem almost right—what does that mean for us as disciples trying not to be deceived?
This episode is an open invitation to question, ponder, and discuss. I’d love to hear your thoughts—what do you think about the idea of “The Other Plan”? And how do you make sure you’re not being deceived? Tune in for a thought-provoking conversation and let’s keep discovering the sweet nuggets of gospel goodness together.
