    Feb 22 2026

Over the past several decades the entertainment industry has been fascinated with the idea of space aliens coming here to earth and encountering normal people, like you and me! Movies, books, and all types of creativity have drawn us to imagine what such an encounter might be like! Some people might say the Bible is also fascinated with that idea, considering the number of Biblical accounts about angels coming to earth and encountering normal people.

    Feb 20 2026

Yesterday and today, we’re facing a remarkable rumor head on. What rumor? That Jesus Christ is returning to earth! Have you heard that rumor? The rumor started when Jesus said these words to His disciples: “The Son of Man is going to come in His father’s glory, with His angels, and then He will reward each person according to what they have done.” (Matt. 16:27)

Have you heard the rumor? The Jesus who walked the roads of Israel with His disciples and did many miracles is coming back again!? Really? Why? When? Where? Today, let’s rejoin Jesus and His disciples as they are leaving Caesarea Philippi where we’ve spent the last several days with them and reviewed some amazing, history making statements Jesus made. Yesterday we listened as Jesus explained to His men who were called ‘disciples’ what that title should really mean. Jesus said: ‘Whoever wants to be MY disciple must deny themself, take up their cross and follow Me.” (Matt. 16:24) We had quite a discussion on that yesterday, didn’t we?

    Feb 18 2026

Do you know anyone who has worked very hard to develop a particular skill which they use in athletics or art or music or their vocation? Have you ever thought about what was being developed in the lives of the disciples during those months they spent with Jesus? Jesus had told at least four of them that if they would follow Him, He would make them ‘fishers of men’ according to Mark 1:17. I doubt any of them knew what Jesus meant, but in the past few days we’ve spent at Caesarea Philippi with them we’ve seen Jesus beginning to clarify His objective.

    Feb 17 2026

Probably, you’ve been called some terrible names in your life. Maybe some were in joking fun, but maybe others were intended to wound your soul deeply. Would it surprise you if I told you Jesus called people names sometimes? Yes, He really did! Today, let’s look at one of them. The past few days we’ve been with Jesus and His disciples at Caesarea Philippi, and they‘ve had a very memorable conversation as Jesus said He would give them the “keys for the kingdom of heaven.” Remember?

  • 26.02.17 “Kingdom Keys Applied to ME?” (Matt. 16:19; Ephes. 2:8,9)
    Feb 16 2026

The past few days we’ve been looking closely at a statement Jesus made to His disciples at Caesarea Philippi, as recorded in Matthew 16:19: “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven…” I’ve shared with you some of what I consider to be the foundational KEYS the disciples were learning from Jesus which they would then share with the world by their words and writings. Jesus had promised that these foundational keys would make it possible for people to gain access to the kingdom of heaven!

Would you agree that an important part of parenting is teaching our children the vital life lessons we their parents have learned in our lives? The same is true in the workplace as trainees or apprentices learn from veterans, right? In the past two days we’ve been looking at one of the most powerful statements Jesus made to His disciples: “I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven…” (Matt. 16:19)
