In Week 2 of our Christmas series, The Wait Is Over, Christian Castro unpacks the story of Simeon in Luke 2 — a man who waited for the Messiah with deep trust, active faith, and clear eyes. His life shows us that peace isn’t passive… It’s something God grows in us as we walk with Him.
In this message, we’ll explore how peaceful waiting often looks:
Trust (Choosing to rely on God even when we can’t see the full story)
Active Faith (Stepping forward in obedience, even before the path is clear)
Eyes Open to God’s Presence (Letting Christ’s peace rule in our hearts)
Through Simeon’s example, we’ll learn how God meets us in our waiting, forms us through it, and fills us with a peace the world cannot give.
