      The Madison Rams defeated the Lexington Minutemen, 48-45, on Friday night in the OCC regular season finale. The Rams used a big 3rd quarter to take the lead and beat Lex for the 2nd time this season. Madison (8-14) was led by Justin McCraney with 17 points, while Ashton Taylor added 9 ( 8 in the 3rd quarter) and Cam Moysi chipped in 9 too. Lexington (8-13) was led by Dantrell Hughes with 17 points.

      The Crestview Cougars went on the road Wednesday and beat the Madison Rams, 72-65, in double overtime. Crestview (11-10), who has now won 4 of their last 5, got a career-high 26 points from Daniel Wells and 25 from Karter Goon. Madison (7-14) suffered their 5th loss in a row and had 3 guys scored in double figures with Justin McCraney's 27, DJ McDaniel with 17 and Kaleb Gordon added 14 points.

    • High School Boys Basketball - Willard at Ontario - Tuesday, February 17th, 2026

      The Willard Crimson Flashes, in what felt like a tournament game, beat Ontario Tuesday night on the road, 74-71, in overtime. Willard, who led by as many as 12 points in the 1st half, rallied down 4 in the final minute to force OT and earn their 18th win on the year. Jaxson Hall of Willard (18-3) led the Flashes with 21 points, and it was his basket with :02 seconds in the 4th quarter that tied the game. Freshman JJ Bedingfield scored 19 points, which included four 3-pointers. Bedingfield on the year has now connected on 59 triples! Ontario (14-7) drops their 5th game in a row and got 53 points combined from Trindon Flenoury (28) and Cardae Brown (25).
