He speaks candidly about walking barefoot for over 15 years, confronting racism - including his time in the United States where he ultimately chose to voluntarily deport himself - and his continued advocacy for people on the margins of society.
The conversation moves between music, philosophy, activism and personal conviction, revealing the mind behind one of Africa’s most unconventional artists.
Wanlov is also one half of the boundary-pushing duo FOKN Bois, known for blending satire, social commentary and fearless creativity.
