UNC did what they were supposed to do, at home, against UNC-Charlotte. The defense was aggressive, if undisciplined. The offense rotated almost all their players and put up enough points to keep the game out of reach for the 49ers.
The Panthers on the other hand, had what most long-time fans would consider the single worse half of Panthers' football - ever. The defense allowed 7 scores on the first 7 drives, the offense didn't get on the board until a FG went through the uprights as time expired going into halftime. So, in reaction, I took to PFF's Mock Draft Simulator, fresh with summer scouted prospects and set to put the Panthers back together in a 3RD, way too early, overreaction mock draft. Then I broke down what a calmer me thinks about the state of this team and where we go from here (only up right?).
