Welcome back to the Tune Out the Noise podcast! It's been five years since the first episode, but the Lord has been faithful and kept me in a place to return to the podcast. In this episode, I spend time reintroducing the concept of the podcast and kicking things off by asking, "are you loved?"

It can be easy to quickly think about being loved from a spouse, family, friends, community, or your coworkers. However, we sometimes find ourselves determine if we are loved or the quality in which we are loved based on those things mentioned. This determination process can often dictate how we think, value, or carry ourselves based on the conditionality or changing nature of that love.

What if I told you there's a more secure and greater love that we should allow to dictate our lives? That's what I'll spend time speaking on because the most high God has made an eternal declaration of His love for us through the sending of His Son! This unconditional love empowers us to walk in a greater place knowing that we are loved solely because of who God is. May the Lord bless you through this podcast episode as we work towards tuning out the noise of the world and into the voice of the Lord.

I’ll be quite honest, I don’t know how long it’s taken me to finish this video. However, I do know it’s been many months, most filled with frustrations from creativity, life, and so much more. Despite many moments of frustration, God taught me that fully surrendering my emotions to the foot of the Cross grants us freedom. I want you to imagine physically holding onto something heavy. At first, the weight isn’t too much to bear and seems easy. Continue to imagine holding onto that item for a few minutes, a few hours, a few days, then a few weeks. Now, how does holding that weight feel? The weight itself doesn’t change, but we become more familiar with the growing fatigue and effects of the weight as time passes. I say this to illustrate how frustration is in our lives. At first, it doesn’t seem too heavy and much to bear. But as time goes on, we grow more fatigued and more familiar with the effects of how heavy it is. Take this time to reflect and release the burden of your frustration to the Father.
