 Andy and Tim, the Two Peas in a podcast, discussed the Canada-China EV trade deal and its implications for North America, along with Trump's counter response to impose 100% tariffs on Canadian products if the trade deal with China goes ahead. Why did Trump react so strongly? Basically because theEV trade deal with China threatens the American auto industry. You can bet Chibna will establish EV auto manufacturing plants in Canada, so they can infiltrate the U.S. market by flooding the U.S. with EVs made in Canada. What are the implications for the U.S. auto industry? Well, ist basically means that Tesla is the only U.S. automaker in a position to compete with the Chinese-made EVs, but since Tesla Evs are significantly more expensive, good luck competing with Chinese EVs, that are 1/10th the price. The U.S. seems to be on track to pursue their "manifest destiny", which is to annex all the territory of the Americas from the North Pole down to the southern tip of Chile.
