À propos de ce contenu audio
In this episode, I interview my guest Hassan from Pakistan, a PhD student in Mathematics who came to Morelia to participate in an academic conference at the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo better known as UMSNH.
But relax, we talk about much more than math. Hassan shares his experience living in Mexico, trying Mexican food, cultural differences, and why he believes Mexicans are warm and friendly. We also discuss friendships, dating, and his honest thoughts about Mexican and Pakistani women.
A big part of the conversation focuses on Islam, where Hassan explains daily prayers, food rules, affection in public, and common misconceptions about his religion and culture. Then we play “True or False”, breaking down popular myths about Pakistan — from safety and poverty to women’s rights, marriages, and food.
We end the episode with life advice about studying, traveling, faith, and personal growth. What started as a strangers ends as a genuine friendship while we enjoy a homemade Pakistani chai.
I hope everyone enjoys.
