  • The Consistency Code: A Midlife Woman’s Guide to Deep Health and Happiness with Courtney Townley
    Mar 5 2026

You know what to do. You're just not doing it. And it's not because you lack willpower.

Courtney Townley has spent 30 years in the wellness space — from fitness trainer to fat loss coach to behavior change specialist — and she kept seeing the same pattern: women who knew exactly what the healthier choice was, and still couldn't make it. That gap between knowing and doing is what her new book, “The Consistency Code: A Midlife Woman’s Guide to Deep Health and Happiness,” was built to close.

In this episode, Courtney reframes everything you thought health was supposed to look like, and why the diet-and-exercise lens has been failing midlife women for decades.

If you're exhausted, running on empty by 5pm, and wondering why the wine always wins over the walk, this conversation is the one you didn't know you needed.

    TOPICS DISCUSSED:

    • Why midlife women are running on the least hormones with the most stress
    • The real reason you reach for wine, Netflix, or sugar at the end of the day
    • Why your nervous system was never designed to run in fight-or-flight all day long
    • The four practices of the Consistency Code: Awareness, Organization, Follow Through, and Realignment
    • Why "stop doing X" never works, and what to focus on instead
    • Rigidity as the silent killer of consistency
    • How to be your own coach: the art of insourcing your health

    BEST MOMENTS:

"You cannot be curious and judgmental at the same time. Choose curiosity."

"Rigidity is the death of consistency."

"I have never worked with a woman who didn't know what the healthier choice was. The bigger question is why aren't we doing it?"

"Health is not a destination. It's a direction you travel in for as long as you have breath in your lungs."

"You are one decision away from traveling back in the direction of health."

  • SHE TRAVELS: Real Stories of Women Transformed Through Solo Travel with Pascale Landriault
    Feb 26 2026

You don't need a divorce, a diagnosis, or a breakdown to change your life. Sometimes you just need to buy a one-way ticket.

Pascale Landriault sold her house, gave away her furniture, and flew to Paris in her late 50s with no return date and no plan beyond eventually reaching Bali. Today, at 65, she's still going — and she wrote a book on what solo travel actually does to a woman from the inside out.

In this episode, Pascale shares the story that stopped her in her tracks: robbed in Sardinia, left with a bathing suit, a towel, and a phone — no passport, no credit cards, no crypto keys. What happened next wasn't just survival. It was the deepest healing of her life. If you've been waiting for the "right time" to travel solo, or convinced yourself it's too unsafe, too lonely, or too late, this conversation will dismantle every excuse you have.

    TOPICS DISCUSSED:

    • Why selling everything and leaving in her late 50s wasn't a crisis — it was a calling
    • What getting robbed in Sardinia taught her about childhood wounds, surrender, and real freedom
    • The myth that solo travel is lonely, unsafe, or only for the young
    • How to heal by feeling — not fixing, not pushing through
    • Her two coaching programs for women ready to travel transformatively or go fully nomadic
    • Retreats in Bali (May 2026) and the Moroccan Desert (November 2026)

    BEST MOMENTS:

"Travel is the catalyst, the mirror, the container, and the medicine."

"I just don't buy the idea that after a certain age you start declining. To me, that's mass conditioning."

"The biggest act of healing is surrendering. Surrendering to whatever's there and whatever's coming up."

"When you try to repress it, it keeps coming back. But if you let it flow through, the cloud moves away quicker."

"You don't realize how heavy you are until you're lighter."

"The more you shed what's not the real you, the more you realize — I didn't even know I was heavy before."

"Vulnerability is courage. First to yourself — and once you can do that, it becomes easier with others too."

"There's a gift in every situation. Travel teaches you to trust that everything's going to be okay."

  • Move. Get Out of Your Own Way.
    Feb 19 2026

You're not stuck because life is hard. You're stuck because you're in the way.

I just drove cross-country from California to Oklahoma, moved into a place a third the size of my old one, in a city where I know absolutely nobody—and then I showed up for my pop-up Zoom and not a single person came. And I'm here to tell you that every bit of it was exactly what needed to happen.

In this solo episode, I get radically honest about the excuses I made, the fear underneath them, and the moment I had to tell myself to get up, get dressed, and go outside.

If you keep explaining away why your life hasn't moved yet, this episode is the mirror you didn't know you needed.

    TOPICS DISCUSSED:

    • Excuses vs. fear: how we justify standing still and what's really underneath
    • Why not keeping your word to yourself is quietly destroying trust—with you and others
    • Blaming circumstances vs. owning your response to them
    • The melancholy trap: what courageous action looks like on your hardest day
    • Self-doubt after a big decision, and how to come back to yourself
    • "Good girl syndrome" and why putting everyone first is keeping you last
    • Blind spots: the beliefs running your life that you can't even see
    • How to start becoming the woman you want to be—in small, identity-shifting steps

    BEST MOMENTS:

"Underlying those excuses were levels of fear. I was just afraid nobody was going to show up, nobody was going to want to hear what I have to say."

"Nobody showed up. So I had the opportunity to actually face my fear—and I didn't die."

"I told myself: pick your ass up and go outside. And that was courageous action."

"When you're not keeping your word to yourself, you're not only self-abandoning—you could be creating a lack of trust with the very people you care about."

"What looks normal to you may really just not be serving you."
