She shares how she became a welder and what she enjoys about being a welder. Jill shares about her experience teaching. I ask Jill about how she involves herself in mentorship.

In this episode, I sit down and chat with Kelly O'Brien and Shane Jones from Durham College. Kelly is the Partnership Manager, School of Hospitality and Horticultural Science and the Gold winner of the 2019 CICan Leadership Excellence Award for Managerial Staff. Shane is a professor and program coordinator of the horticulture programs and the Silver winner of of the 2021 CICan Leadership Excellence Award for Faculty. Both them shared information about their new partnership/project  The Barrett Centre of Innovation in Sustainable Urban Agriculture. They share how this project will benefit the students and community.

In this episode, I sit down and speak with John McGrath, Scott Thomson & André S. Léger from St. Lawrence College.  André is the Associate dean, School of Contemporary Teaching & Learning and John and Scott are two Trades Professors. We discuss the School of Contemporary Teaching & Learning's Contemporary Educator Program (CEP). We learn what an important part both John & Scott played in that program.
