Tottenham respond in style on a big European night as Spurs beat Borussia Dortmund 2–0 in the Champions League at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. First-half goals from Cristian Romero and Dominic Solanke capped an intense, front-foot display, with Wilson Odobert heavily involved before Dortmund were reduced to ten men. The result puts Spurs in a strong position to qualify automatically for the knockout stages.
We also look back On This Day in 1967, when Bill Nicholson took charge of his 400th match as Tottenham manager, marked by a 2–0 home win over Burnley with goals from Cliff Jones and Jimmy Greaves.
