While the hivemind want to serve her, Carol wants to live normally and tries to go to the grocery store to find it empty. She calls Zosia and demands her grocery store be restocked, before jokingly asking for a Grenade, which of course Zosia provides. Dec 11 2025

Jordan is back to break down each episode of AppleTV and Vince Gilligan’s latest television hit, Pluribus!

Even though episode one and two premiered on the same day, these episodes were watched by him separately with time to record his thoughts in between.

Rhea Seehorn plays Carol Sturka, a famous author who becomes one of the very few to survive the apocalyptic virus-type outbreak that transforms the rest of the world into a hive mind.

In “Pirate Lady”, Carol rounds up the rest of the immune English speakers to hold a meeting where they can openly discuss their thoughts and how they can move forward and save the world. The issue is these other five people are not willing to step up and help her. Instead, some are enjoying the world as it is now, where they can hook up with people with little resistance, there’s no murders or people imprisoned, animals are free from captivity and more. Can Carol change their mind or will she have to go save the world on her own?
