Hi, I’m Kirsten — a Christian mom of three and former tech Program Manager. I spent nearly a decade leading projects and building systems that worked in high-pressure environments. After stepping away from my corporate career to focus on my family, I now help Christian moms apply practical planning principles to everyday life so they can practice purposeful work, intentional rest, and focused living.

    • Ep 17 | Biblical Boundaries for Christian Moms: How to Be Where Your Feet Are (Without Guilt)
      Feb 18 2026

Have you been feeling scattered, guilty, and pulled in every direction as a work-from-home mom or entrepreneur?

You set a schedule and try to protect your time. Yet somehow you still feel behind at the end of everyday.

And guilty. Guilty for working instead of being "just a mom". Guilty when you’re with your kids instead of "providing" for your family.

In this episode of Time Management for Christian Moms, we’re talking about biblical boundaries — not in a vague or Pinterest-perfect or IG-worthy way, but in a practical, realistic way that actually works for moms balancing faith, family, and work from home.

If your boundaries keep breaking no matter what you do, this episode will help you see the real issue more clearly — and give you a practical steps for boundary setting.

As a former Program Manager in tech, I used to rely heavily on calendars, deadlines, and clear start-and-stop times. But working from home as a mom to three young children lends itself to constant interruptions, emotional pressure, and blurred lines. I've had to become very intentional.

In this episode, we walk through why boundaries don’t fail because of a lack of discipline — but because of missing clarity, unplanned friction, and misaligned priorities.

      You’ll learn:

      • Why boundaries fall apart when you haven’t prioritized what's most important in your current season

      • How to plan for predictable interruptions like kids, notifications, and general overwhelm

      • Why biblical stewardship is about priority, not balance

      • How the biblical order of roles brings peace and reduces guilt

      • How capacity-based planning helps boundaries become solid

We’ll also talk about how Jesus modeled boundaries throughout Scripture — withdrawing to pray, saying no to crowds, and honoring the Father’s will — and why Christian moms don’t need to feel guilty for doing the same.

This episode is especially helpful if you feel:

      • Mentally exhausted or overwhelmed

      • More reactive instead of proactive

      • Always starting strong but struggling to follow through

      • Pulled between work, home, and spiritual life with no clear separation

If your boundaries keep breaking because your plans don’t match your reality, this episode will help you realign your time with your values — and finally be where your feet are, without guilt.

Homeschooling and Working From Home Without Burnout: Boundaries, Screens, and Sustainable Rhythms

Can Christian moms really homeschool, work from home, and still protect their peace?

In Part 2 of my conversation with Jamie, the creator of the blog https://gingerhomemaking.com/, we talk honestly about homeschooling and working from home without burnout. The key is setting clear priorities, strong boundaries, and sustainable daily rhythms.

We dive into what it really looks like to balance motherhood and business, how to resist hustle culture, and why limiting screens (for both moms and kids) can radically change your home.

Yes, Jamie has a flip phone and lives a full life and a successful business without being tethered to the internet. Gasp! 🤯

      In this episode, we cover:

      • How to prioritize family and work in different seasons
      • Why clarity with your spouse is critical when running a business
      • Letting go of hustle culture and identity pressures as a mom
      • Practical work-from-home boundaries that protect homeschool time

Homeschooling Without Burnout: The Power of Reading Aloud and Focused Time

If you’re a Christian homeschooling mom who feels overwhelmed, scattered, or stretched too thin, this episode will help you simplify.

This is Part 1 of my conversation with Jamie — a homeschool mom of four and the creator behind the blog https://gingerhomemaking.com/. We discuss how to homeschool multiple children of different ages without burnout by narrowing your focus and anchoring your day with reading aloud as a family.

Jamie shares how she balances homeschooling and business, why prioritizing focused time matters more than putting in long hours, and how reading aloud has become the foundation of her homeschooling rhythm.

      In this episode, we cover:

      • The tension many Christian moms feel between staying home and wanting to work
      • Why focused time beats doing everything all day
      • How reading aloud simplifies homeschool across multiple ages
      • What makes a “good” book (without overthinking it)
      • How to start a reading habit—even if you only have five minutes a day

This episode is perfect for homeschooling and work-from-home moms who want peace, structure, and sustainable rhythms.

If this episode encouraged you, share it with another homeschooling mama. ♥️
