  • Joey Perricone Joins the Pod | NHL Central Scouting Rankings | Mid-Season Recap
    Jan 14 2026

On today's episode, Scott and Brad catch up on the Mooseheads' recent stretch—an inconsistent run of results, but highlighted by a much-needed overtime win vs. Gatineau that had some edge to it.

From there, it's a look ahead at a brutal upcoming slate (including Chicoutimi) and why the standings race is so tight that a few points could completely change Halifax's playoff path.

They also hit league news, including a coaching change in Gatineau, and break down the NHL Central Scouting midterm rankings — with shoutouts to Mooseheads names on the list (and what's driving their stock).

And finally, a brand-new segment: "Random Social Media Comment of the Week"… and yes, it's as unhinged as it sounds.

Scott and Brad are then joined by former Mooseheads goalie/video coach Joey Perricone for a wide-ranging, behind-the-scenes hockey conversation.

Joey walks through his unlikely path from Southern California roller hockey to the WHL, including the culture shock of arriving in Moose Jaw with basically nothing, and what that era of junior hockey was really like. He revisits a WHL finals run, a near goalie-fight moment, and the coaching connections that led him through Rouyn-Noranda, Moncton, and eventually Halifax.

    Tune in now!
