    Anastassia is learning to sing tango. She talks about her journey of discovering tango music in Buenos Aires, her chance-meeting with her singing teacher, Roxana Fontan, and her many reflections about tango not only as a dance, but also a musical expression and a culture. And she sings!

  • 002. Tiffany's first year of tango

    Tiffany started dancing tango a year ago while finishing her PhD. She talks about her motivation to learn tango, and shares stories from her defining 'firsts': from attending her very first tango class to experiencing her first tango festival. We also discuss her interest in learning to lead, the challenges of adapting to tango etiquette, and what she had learnt about the dance in the past year.

    After visiting Buenos Aires for the first time in 2023, Victoria returned to the city in November 2024. She talks about her experience of learning and dancing tango in Buenos Aires, how it differs from her experience in the UK, and her discoveries on her second visit.
