  • Friendship Beyond Vibes and Aesthetics
    Jan 11 2026

In this episode of The Seeking Covering Podcast, I sit down with my best friend, Rukia ali Muhammad, for an honest conversation about real friendship how it forms, how it deepens, and why it feels so rare today.

We talk about how we met, how our bond grew naturally over time, and what separates surface-level connections from friendships that actually last. From loyalty and vulnerability to growth, change, and showing up for one another, this episode explores what it really means to have someone who feels like “your person.”

We also reflect on friendship through an Islamic lens how the people we keep close shape who we become, the idea that souls recognize one another, and why companionship in this life carries weight beyond it.

If you’ve ever wondered whether a friend can feel like a soulmate, or if you’ve been craving deeper, more meaningful connections, this episode is for you.

  • Allah didn't create you to disappear
    Dec 27 2025

In this episode of the Seeking Covering Podcast, we have an honest and much-needed conversation about the Muslim woman’s voice and how culture, fear, and personal insecurities have often been projected onto Islam in ways that silenced women for generations.

Together, we explore why so many Muslim women grew up believing that their voice was something to hide, why questioning was discouraged, and how this led many sisters to disconnect from learning, teaching, and fully inhabiting their faith.

Through personal reflection, mental health insights, and powerful reminders from the Qur’an and Sunnah especially the story of Khawlah bint Tha‘labah (رضي الله عنها) whose voice was honoured by Allah we unpack the difference between Islam and culture, and why learning our deen for ourselves is essential.

This episode is for every woman who has ever loved truth but felt unheard within it. A reminder that Islam never erased women it honoured them. And that reclaiming your voice is not rebellion, but a return to truth.

  • the child we never got to hold
    Dec 13 2025

In this deeply personal episode, I share my journey with infertility and the loss of a child we waited over four years for. I speak about the before, the during, and the after the hope, the heartbreak, and the moments that changed me forever.

I reflect on the impact of the people around me, the words that stayed, and the silence that followed. Through an Islamic lens, I explore the hadith that speaks of children who pass away and are granted Jannah children who refuse to enter until their parents are allowed to enter with them.

This episode is a reflection on grief, faith, unanswered duʿāʾ, and trusting Allah through profound loss.

  • Its ok to want to take your hijab off
    Dec 2 2025

In this episode, I open up about something deeply personal my real, unfiltered journey with hijab and later, the niqab. Not the Instagram-perfect version. Not the polished “I woke up one day and felt spiritually transformed” story. But the actual struggle. The fear. The doubt. The weight of becoming visibly Muslim in a world that doesn’t always welcome it.

I talk about what it felt like to take those early steps, the internal battles that no one sees, the comments from the community that made it harder, and the courage it took to keep going anyway. And most importantly, I speak to every sister who’s struggling… every sister who wonders if she’s the only one finding this difficult… every sister who feels like her efforts aren’t enough.

    You’re not alone.

We are all navigating this journey in our own imperfect, beautiful way.

And the fact that you even try the fact that you take one step toward Allah, even when you feel scared that is something powerful. Something honorable.

This episode is an honest conversation, a gentle reminder, and a heartfelt hug to every woman carrying her faith on her shoulders every single day.

Tune in, take a breath, and let’s walk this journey together behind the veil and beyond it.

  • Why are grown men obsessed with young girls ?
    Nov 17 2025

In this episode, we speak openly about the realities our communities often pretend don’t exist grooming, manipulation, child marriage, and the ways power and silence allow harm to continue. We break down how predators operate, step by step, why victims often don’t recognize it, and how cultural and religious denial can protect the wrong people while leaving young girls vulnerable. Expect honest, unfiltered conversations about boundaries, accountability, and the systems that fail to protect the most vulnerable. We explore the emotional and psychological impact of grooming, the shame unfairly placed on victims, and how to create safer spaces for the next generation.

This episode isn’t just about listening it’s about speaking. If you’ve experienced or witnessed these issues, we encourage you to share your story, add your voice, and help break the silence. Your experiences matter, and together we can start changing the narrative, holding power accountable, and protecting the next generation.

  • her death taught me how to live
    Nov 2 2025

In this intimate episode, I open up about my mother’s final moments with cancer and the most beautiful memory I hold of her. Through her death, I learned one of life’s hardest and holiest lessons: that self-love is not selfish, it’s sacred. I reflect on the prophetic teaching where Allah’s Messenger ﷺ reminds us to care for ourselves first, then our families, and then others with what remains. This episode is a gentle reminder to every eldest daughter the caretaker, the peacemaker, the one who always holds it together that you cannot pour from an empty cup. It’s time to return to yourself with mercy.

  • What if polygamy isn't the problem?
    Oct 18 2025

    This isn’t an easy conversation.

Polygamy is one of those words that makes people flinch especially women.

It’s been used to wound, to justify, to control.

But it’s also been deeply misunderstood.

In this pisode of The Seeking Covering Podcast, I sit with two women a first wife and a second wife to talk about what it really feels like to live inside that verse everyone quotes.

We talk about heartbreak and faith, jealousy and surrender.

About what justice looks like when love is divided, and what faith feels like when your heart is breaking.

    It’s raw, it’s uncomfortable, and it’s real.

This isn’t about defending or condemning polygamy.

It’s about listening really listening to the women who live it.

It’s about the weight of being tested by what’s allowed, and the courage to find Allah in the middle of it all.

The Seeking Covering Podcast where faith gets personal.

  • The Weight of Manhood in Islam
    Oct 5 2025

What does Islam really expect from men?

In this episode, we explore the Qur’anic idea of qiwama not as control or privilege, but as amanah: a weight of responsibility, mercy, and accountability before Allah. We revisit the examples of Abu Bakr, Umar, and the Prophet ﷺ to uncover what true manhood looked like in their lives: sacrifice, humility, and service.

But we also face the uncomfortable truth how today many men chase authority while abandoning responsibility, and how cultural double standards distort the balance that Islam set.

This episode is a reminder, a challenge, and an invitation: for men to rise to their responsibility, for women to know the dignity Islam grants them, and for our communities to return to the prophetic model of justice and mercy.
