À propos de ce contenu audio

This week we turn attention to Angola, whose southern provinces are facing severe drought in a crisis the media monitoring NGO CARE says is the world's least reported climate emergency. We seek to understand the human impact of the drought, and the reasons for the strained and inadequate humanitarian response. We also take a look at where practical aid and adaptation measures are and can be taken. As always, we suggest intention-based prayers to support the affected communities. Intentions and prayers begin at 23 minutes 30 seconds. Suggested Intention Focus for this week This week, as millions face severe food poverty in Angola owing to drought, we suggest holding as our main intention: We will that timely, adequate rainfall will come to southern Angola to replenish the country’s rivers, refill water points, enable planting, and provide pasture for livestock. Please join us in holding this.
