And down in the southeast, it's thick enough to swallow headlights whole. Dense Fog Advisory until noon for Kenosha. Racine. Walworth. Rock. Green. And Lafayette Counties. Visibility drops to a quarter mile in spots, so give yourself extra time and keep those headlights on low beam. In the next 24 hours. Southeast Wisconsin starts at 35 degrees with that soupy fog and a chance of light rain before 11 A.M. You'll climb to 42 today. Tonight, fog lingers with lows near 37. South Central Wisconsin sits at 38 degrees and takes the prize for warmth today — highs near 47. You might catch a sprinkle before late morning, then the fog settles back in. Tonight drops to 40. Up in Northeast Wisconsin, you're at 31 degrees, but that northeast breeze at 9 miles an hour makes it feel like 28. Mostly cloudy skies push you to 44 today. Fog rolls in tonight with lows around 36. Now here's the twist. Tomorrow, a warm front charges north and launches temperatures into the 60s — nearly 25 degrees above normal for early March. But the warmth brings company: widespread rain and thunderstorms Friday into Friday night. Some spots could see over an inch. And a few storms may pack gusty winds or small hail. The weekend clears beautifully. Saturday brings mid-50s, then Sunday and Monday deliver sun and 60s again. Because the weather map is about to get interesting. In the next 24 hours. Tonight brings a classic Wisconsin trick. Patchy fog develops statewide, but folks up in Ashland. Bayfield. And Iron Counties need to be careful. A Dense Fog Advisory runs through noon Thursday tomorrow. Visibility could drop to a quarter mile or less. Down south, keep an ear out between 3 and 5 A.M. That's when Southeast and South Central Wisconsin might hear a few raindrops tapping on the roof. Thursday stays cool and gray under cloud cover. Southeast Wisconsin tops out at 43 degrees with light rain lingering into the afternoon. South Central Wisconsin fares a bit better at 48. Over in Northeast Wisconsin, you'll see patchy fog early before skies try to brighten, hitting 44 degrees. But Friday is the headline. A potent storm system rolls in with widespread rain and even thunderstorms. Highs surge into the upper 50s to mid 60s. That's running 27 degrees to 27 degrees above normal for early March. Some spots could see over an inch of rain. Saturday offers a brief break with lingering morning showers giving way to partly sunny skies and highs in the 50s. Then Sunday looks fantastic — mostly sunny and near 60 degrees. Monday keeps the mild streak alive in the low 60s. By Tuesday into Wednesday, another system brings rain that could mix with snow as reality checks back in. Tonight's full moon rises at sunset. We've a Dense Fog Advisory up for Green and Lafayette Counties until 9 A.M., where visibility could drop to a quarter mile. The rest of the state is under a Special Weather Statement. Watch for frost on the roads — scattered slippery spots could catch you off guard on the commute. In the next 24 hours. We're starting at 24 degrees under partly cloudy skies. That fog will burn off by mid-morning, setting us up for a genuinely pleasant day. South Central Wisconsin breaks into the mid-50s under mostly sunny skies. Southeast Wisconsin starts with the fog, then turns partly sunny with a high of 45 degrees. Head north to the Green Bay area and you'll find pure sunshine with a high of 54 degrees — that's about 26 degrees above normal for early March. Tonight, clouds roll back in. Lows drop to 37 degrees in the southeast, 39 degrees south central. And 30 degrees up north. Rain moves in after midnight in southern Wisconsin. Thursday brings light rain, especially in the morning. Highs land in the low to mid-40s. Friday is the day to watch. A strong storm system brings widespread rain, thunderstorms. And highs surging into the upper 50s to mid-60s. Some spots could see over a half-inch of rain. The weekend clears out nicely. Saturday and Sunday look dry with highs in the 50s. Monday? We're talking low 60s and sunny. But another storm system arrives Tuesday with more rain and thunderstorms. We've a full moon tonight.
