À propos de ce contenu audio

The Wednesday Project is a Christian space for slowing down, paying attention, and learning to stay present with what is true—even when it’s complex, unresolved, or mysterious.

Hosted by Christina, a trauma therapist and thoughtful bridge-builder between faith and psychology, this project explores embodied Christianity, nervous-system-aware healing, and the spiritual responsibility of noticing. Rather than rushing toward certainty or easy answers, episodes invite curiosity as a posture—one that allows faith, mental health, and mystery to exist together without force or fear.

Here, theology meets lived experience. Psychology meets Scripture. Stillness meets courage.

This isn’t about performing faith better or adding more practices to your spiritual to-do list. It’s about learning to be human again—attentive, honest, embodied, and awake to the presence of God in the middle of ordinary life.

New reflections release midweek, offering a companion for those who want to listen deeply, think carefully, and sit with questions that don’t need to be solved to be meaningful.

    • Episode 1 | Curiosity Without Collapse
      Jan 21 2026

Curiosity often doesn't feel neutral—it feels risky. Especially in faith spaces, asking questions can feel like the first step toward losing your footing entirely. But what if curiosity isn't the problem? What if the issue is trying to stay curious without the internal capacity to hold not knowing?

In this first episode of The Wednesday Podcast, we explore the difference between curiosity and collapse, why regulation matters more than we've been taught, and how God designed us as embodied beings—body, soul, and spirit integrated. Certainty is not the same as trust. You can wrestle with God and still be in relationship with Him.

This is a space where we hold faith, psychology, and mystery together—without urgency, without performance, and without pretending everything resolves neatly.

      Topics explored:

      • Why curiosity feels dangerous in Christian contexts
      • The difference between curiosity and nervous system collapse
      • Why God isn't threatened by your questions
      • What this podcast will (and won't) do

Keywords: faith and curiosity, Christian mental health, trauma therapy, nervous system regulation, embodied faith, asking questions in faith, somatic healing, Polyvagal theory, spiritual formation, integration
